About the Webinar
President Barack Obama signed the Achieving a Better Life Experience, or ABLE Act on December 19, 2014 as part of the Tax Increase Prevention Act of 2014. This law will allow qualified individuals with disabilities to have tax-free savings accounts.
This workshop provides an overview of the ABLE Act, as well as special needs trusts, and how they may help to ensure quality of life for dependents with special needs.
About ABLE Act Eligibility
Please note that not all individuals with disabilities will be eligible to open an ABLE account. The ABLE Act limits eligibility to individuals with significant disabilities with an age of onset of disability before turning 26 years of age. You do not have to be under the age of 26 to be eligible for an ABLE account. You can be over the age of 26, but the disabling condition must have occurred before your 26th birthday.
