Ellen Talles, LCSW-C, BC-DMT, will be facilitating our support group and discussion for care partners—parents, spouses, close family and friends—who support people with ataxia. Ellen has over 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist and experience working with people living with movement disorders, including ataxia, and their care partners. Ms. Talles will discuss how to take better care of yourself and your relationship with your loved one. Her style is informal, strength-oriented, sometimes unconventional. She believes in the healing power of talking, honesty, music, movement, crying & laughing.
This program has been generously supported by Mrs. Debbie Curry. If you would like to contribute towards similar programs and the Johns Hopkins Ataxia Center, please contact Kaylin Kopcho the Neurology Development Office at 443-287-7877
