You Can Help Fight Ataxia

There are many ways that you can support and get involved with the important work of the National Ataxia Foundation.

Donate

Your generosity helps NAF fulfill it’s mission – to connect Ataxia families, researchers, clinicians, and the community – with the goal of finding a cure.

  • Make an Individual Donation: Make a donation in support of the NAF mission.
  • Memorials/Honor Of Donation: Remember and honor friends or family by making a donation in their name.
  • Join the Recurring Gift Program: Make a monthly or annual donation. Select “Monthly” or “Annually” when you make your donation.
  • Take Advantage of an Employer Matching Gift Program: Many employers will match your donation. It’s a way to increase the impact of your generosity! Check with your employer directly – or see if they are enrolled in the Double Your Donation program using the search box below.

  • Plan for Deferred Giving: Remember NAF in your will with monetary or property donations.
  • Donate Stock: Give appreciated securities, such as stock, to NAF.
  • Donate Your Vehicle: Donate your car, truck, or van to NAF. Contact us for further information.

Fundraise

Individuals around the country increase their impact in the fight against Ataxia by initiating fundraisers on behalf of NAF. If you are interested in organizing a fundraising event, we’d be happy to help!

Get Involved

  • Volunteer: There are a number of ways you can help NAF by volunteering your time and talents. Contact NAF for more information.
  • Participate in a Support Group: Connect with your local support group to get involved with the Ataxia community.
  • Attend the Annual Ataxia Conference: The AAC is a great way to connect with the Ataxia community and learn about the latest research and treatments for Ataxia.
  • Become a Member for Free: NAF sends a monthly enewsletter about Ataxia news, tips, events, and research. Sign up for the list
  • Encourage others to support the NAF through donations and event participation.

 

 

These are just a few ways you can help the National Ataxia Foundation in providing meaningful programs and promising research. The National Ataxia Foundation is a nonprofit, tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization. Donations made to the Foundation are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Donations are needed and greatly welcomed.

The National Ataxia Foundation has a Donor Privacy Policy in place which prohibits the selling or trading of donor names or information about the donor to any other entity, business, organization, or individual. Donor names and information are strictly confidential.
