NAF has launched a petition on Change.org calling on the FDA to prioritize treatment options for rare diseases with urgent unmet needs, including Spinocerebellar Ataxia (SCA).

Support group meetings are a great way to socialize and learn with others who are affected by Ataxia. We welcome you to join us! The discussion is led by our volunteer Support Group Leaders, who are looking forward to helping you connect with others.
Meeting Information
Our next Central PA Support Group Meeting will be on July 19th from 11am to 1pm. The meeting will be at the Penn State Hershey Medical Centers 30 Hope Drive location, Entrance A, Room 1710 from 11am to 1pm. Our presenter will be Peg Kanzlieter, Recreation Therapist from Penn State Health Rehab Hospital. She will talk about adaptive ecreation and the Penn State RecFest to be held at the end of August.
After the meeting we will head over to the Leader Farm for our annual family picnic. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks will be provided.
There is plenty to do at farm, there is: bocci ball, miniature golf, a mechanical merry go round and a fishing pond along with plenty of time to get to know each other! This is a family event so all family members are welcome, please RSVP who is planning on attending so we can make proper plans.
Please RSVP by July 16th so I can let Mike and Karen know how many to expect.
