Johns Hopkins University & Medicine – Holiday Music Therapy with Emily

Join Emily for an hour of music therapy during the holiday season. Whether you’re having a harder time around the holidays, or you’re leaning into the magic of the season, this group will provide a little break for connection, self-care and music.
 
To register and attend:
Emily Mahoney, MMT, LGPC, LPMT, MT-BC, LCPC, is a board-certified music therapist and licensed clinical professional counselor. Since childhood, Emily has been involved in music in some capacity, through taking lessons or in various choirs and ensembles. It was through these powerful experiences of making music with others that eventually led her to become a music therapist. She completed her master’s in music therapy at Temple University, followed by post-graduate studies in counseling psychology at University of Baltimore. Emily worked at Gilchrist Hospice as a music therapist for 7 years, before moving into private practice at Turning Stone Counseling.
