- Donations are restricted to forms of Ataxia characterized by genetic Repeat Expansions. (SCA1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 17, 27b (50), 36, and CANVAS.
- The program requires completion of an Informed Consent Form that must include a hand-written signature (electronic signatures cannot be accepted).
- Tissue must be harvested within 24-36 hours of death.
- People interested in donating to this research bank are highly encouraged to complete the consent form and supply other required information before the donor’s death is imminent.
