Celeste Suart is a PhD student with Dr. Ray Truant’s group at McMaster University, Canada. She obtained her BHSc in Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization from McMaster University. Her current work focuses on characterizing the response of ataxin-1 (the protein affect in SCA1) to DNA damage and reactive oxygen species stress.
