Yes. The patient has to be in Germany at the time of his/her death, preferably within 200 kilometers of one of the five centers of the DZNE Brain Bank (Bonn, Dresden, Munich, Rostock und Tübingen)
Preexisting Patient or Study Participant Restrictions
Donor does not need to be a preexisting patient. Being registered with one of clinical studies of the DZNE is desirable.
Tissue Use Restrictions
Tissues donated to this brain bank can be restricted for academic research purposes upon request.
