Support group meetings are a great way to socialize and learn with others who are affected by Ataxia. We welcome you to join us! The discussion is led by our volunteer Support Group Leaders, who are looking forward to helping you connect with others.

If you are a NAF member, you may recall seeing invitations to a series called Cooking with Troy. NAF provides the following introduction:
Troy Stewart has teamed up with the National Ataxia Foundation to bring the heat with a mix of fun webinar and cooking demonstrations, designed to help those with disabilities master the art of cooking! From virtual tips to hands-on experiences, these sessions are all about boosting confidence and independence in the kitchen.
Troy lives with Gluten Ataxia, and through his NAF series prepares dishes in real time with viewers. In March Troy prepared almond crusted halibut (yum!).
At our May meeting, Troy will not be preparing a dish but will share practical tips and techniques to help us cook with confidence and sharpen our kitchen skills. I look forward to seeing how he has arranged his kitchen and watch him demonstrate the cooking implements he uses. Be on the lookout for the email with the link to join.
