Support group meetings are a great way to socialize and learn with others who are affected by Ataxia. We welcome you to join us! The discussion is led by our volunteer Support Group Leaders, who are looking forward to helping you connect with others.

Meeting Information 

Friday, September 25, in recognition of International Ataxia Awareness Day. Thanks to Nancy Kochevar, Boulder County is officially recognizing Ataxia Awareness Day!

We will meet from 5:00–6:00 PM in the Parlor Room at First United Methodist Church:

There is accessible/handicap parking directly in front of the church, and the Parlor Room is accessible for attendees with mobility needs.

We’ll have snacks and drinks and time to connect with one another. We are also hoping that a Boulder County Commissioner may be able to join us and present the County’s official proclamation recognizing ataxia awareness.

At 6:00 PM, we will head together to the Boulder County Courthouse at 1325 Pearl St, just a few blocks away. Attendees are welcome to walk or drive (there is handicap parking directly in front of the courthouse), depending on what is most comfortable. Boulder County will be illuminating the courthouse in recognition of ataxia awareness, and we’d love to gather there as a group to see the lights.
