EASTERN TIME ZONE
Support group meetings are a great way to socialize and learn with others who are affected by Ataxia. We welcome you to join us! The discussion is led by our volunteer Support Group Leaders, who are looking forward to helping you connect with others.
Meeting Information:
Meeting Location:
Our next support group meeting will be held on March 28th at 1:00 p.m., and we’ll be focusing on a topic many of us think about as the seasons change: living with ataxia while enjoying the outdoors and adapting to the weather.
Spending time outside can bring a sense of calm, connection, and renewal, but for those living with ataxia, changing weather and uneven terrain can also pose unique challenges. During this meeting, we’ll share experiences, tips, and personal stories about finding ways to enjoy the outdoors safely—whether that means taking a short walk, sitting in the sunshine, or simply appreciating the fresh air.
As spring approaches, it’s a great time to reflect on how we can stay connected to the world around us while supporting one another through the realities of living with ataxia. We hope this discussion will be both encouraging and practical as we learn from each other’s experiences.
We look forward to seeing you and continuing these important conversations together.
