Greater Atlanta Support Group Meeting

November 8 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

EASTERN TIME ZONE

Support group meetings are a great way to socialize and learn with others who are affected by Ataxia. We welcome you to join us! The discussion is led by our volunteer Support Group Leaders, who are looking forward to helping you connect with others.

Meeting Information:

As the holiday season approaches, many of us are preparing to visit family and friends, celebrate traditions, and take part in the joy this time of year brings. For those living with ataxia, however, holiday travel can also come with unique challenges — from navigating airports and unfamiliar environments to managing fatigue and accessibility needs along the way.

At the next meeting, we’ll be focusing on traveling with disabilities — sharing practical tips, personal stories, and helpful resources to make your journey smoother and less stressful. Whether you’re flying across the country, taking a road trip, or celebrating closer to home, our community is here to support you.

Let’s explore how to make travel safer, more comfortable, and full of holiday cheer — no matter where the season takes you!

Meeting Location:

This meeting will be in-person and virtual via Zoom.
