The Ataxia Open: Pickleball Tournament was created in memory of Deanna Adams, who passed away from Ataxia in 2023. With generations of her family impacted by Ataxia, this event is a meaningful way to honor Deanna and others affected by the disease while raising awareness and funds to support the Ataxia community.

With the support of family and friends, the Ataxia Open brings the community together for a day of fun, friendly competition, and purpose. More than a pickleball tournament, it’s an opportunity to celebrate loved ones, support progress in Ataxia research, and bring hope to individuals and families impacted by Ataxia.

The family hopes to make the Ataxia Open an annual tradition that continues to grow its community and impact for years to come.
