Thank you for 15 Years of Chuck and Duck!
We guarantee you will get a kick out of this! For the15th year, Charlton Heights Elementary School participants came together to celebrate a former student with Ataxia, raise vital funds for the community, and have a blast doing it (check out those photos)!
In total, the Chuck and Duck event has raised over $60,000! This year, they had the largest number of participants and sponsors ever. A big thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, families, and everyone who made this event possible. Your support means the world, and we are so proud to celebrate this milestone with you.

About the Event
The Chuck and Duck was started to honor a former student who has Friedreich’s Ataxia. Dodgeball was his favorite sport, so his teacher, Mr. Haluska, decided to start this tournament as a fundraiser. The entire community rallied and supported their event. Fifteen years later, they are still making a huge impact, having fun, and bringing the community together.
We can’t wait to see what next year has in store. Thank you, Charlton Heights Elementary School, for supporting the Ataxia Community!
